Employing foreign workers in the UK

The employment regulations are quite strict in the UK and for good reason. The employment laws are set out to ensure that all workers and employers are treated fairly and that the places and conditions in which they work are safe and clean.

The employment laws covers such things like pay rates, holidays, breaks, sickness leave and dismissal procedures along with documentation required to work in the UK.

For foreign workers, there are some additional laws that need to be consider when employing someone within a UK based company. The EEA nationals freedom of movement act states that all people within the EU have the right to work, live and study in any of the Member States of the
