With the current Covid-19 outbreak, many people are rightfully concerned as to what is going to happen to their job? If you are employed the government is setting up schemes to ensure that you are not without a wage if you have to self-isolate or are hospitalised. This will also reach to people that have been told by their employer that they are having to close the business so no longer have any work for them.

If you are self employed then this is not as straight forward and at present no one knows exactly what support you are going to receive. These are challenging times for all of us and the government is in a hard position trying to manage the outbreak, personal finances of the public and also the greater economy.

Over the next couple of weeks, we should find out more about what support is available to those affected by this virus and how they can go about accessing additional funds should they need to. 

People that have already been laid off, may find that they can apply for new jobs in places such as supermarkets which are calling out for people at the moment.
